Packaging weight data helps support packaging reporting, sustainability analysis, recycling assessments, regulatory requirements and packaging-related due diligence.
Packaging weight data may be used to:
- understand the amount of packaging material used
- support recyclability and circularity assessments
- improve packaging transparency and reporting
- support packaging-related sustainability targets and analyses
- identify opportunities to reduce packaging material use or waste
Where packaging contains multiple materials, weight data may be requested separately for each material type.
If packaging weight data is not currently available, you can complete other available packaging data and update the weight data later when accurate data becomes available.
