What is a GPC Brick code?

Learn how GPC Brick codes are used for product classification in Infine Connect.

A GPC Brick code is part of the GS1 Global Product Classification standard. It is used to classify product types in a consistent way across systems and organisations.

In Infine Connect, the GPC Brick code helps identify the product category and supports product classification, reporting, analysis and data harmonisation.

You can search for the field using either:

  • the GPC code
  • a product category name or keyword

Select the closest matching product category available.

You can also use the GS1 GPC classification browser to help find the correct classification.
